Patterns for grown sons

Post by JakeeO »

:) Hello fellow cross-stitchers. I am new to this site. I am looking for a cross-stitch pattern for a grown son. I have cross-stitched patterns for my three grown daughters, but I can't find anything for grown sons. Can anyone help?[/b]

Hi and welcome JackeeO! :D

What kind of things is he 'into'? There are some really cool designs of cars and trains and the such. A few months ago Cross Stitcher had a fantastic antique map of the world. That would be a really good design for a guy.

Best of luck with your search! :D

Welcome to the board JakeeO.

The girls already seem to have given you a good start for places to look if we can be of more help be sure to ask.

At the top of the page in this section there are some Internet Sites you could check and see if anything catches your fancy.

Welcome JakeeO,

I stitch snow-boarding designs for my eldest son, as that is his passion. Last year's Christmas card was a penguin on a snow-board! I see that Serinde has listed some sports cross stitch sites, and I would agree with Connie about the possibility of maps being a good choice. Hope you find something suitable. :D

:D Thank you to everyone that responded to my message. My son just turned 32y/o. He is into deer hunting and Christian music. I wish I could find something that specifies "Son" on the pattern.

Thanks again,

JaKeeO from Louisiana

If he likes Christian music how about his one...

In particular, The Amazing Grace (second one on the page) might do really well... It's not girly, but definately musically oriented.
