I was away over the weekend so came back today to find some nice surprises :D CrossStitcher magazine arrived, World of Cross Stitching magazine arrived, and my bag with 4 bobbin boxes in it arrived :D I wasn't even sure if that was going to come, it was part of a seasonal sale from a mail order company, they couldn't guarantee delivery :D

Also the electronic postie brought confirmation that I've won a selection of frames and hoops on ebay :)

Well done on the frames and hoops stash. I was going to put a bid in on that selection as it looked a good mix but I got involved with my ironing and then missed it.

I bought my 4 pieces of vintage aida from the same seller.

For a minute there I was worried I'd been bidding against you! It's so rare I use ebay I'm really quite chuffed with these :) Enjoy your vintage aida :D

I won some Disney princess patterns for ebay and they just arrived today. I had to sign for them so it was a good thing I was home at the time to get them. Now I just need to get the fabric from silkweaver.com so I can start working on them.

Today I received two pieces of fabric that I ordered from e-bay. I think that Mabel has recommended this seller before and I would second that as he communicates very well and his goods are as described.

Yes, I got his evenweave job lot with a few others -- good quality, good service.

And speaking of good service, I ordered two medium-sized bobbin boxes from Sew and So yesterday afternoon, and they arrived this morning!

Why medium-sized, I hear you say -- not enough silks to fill the big ones :-)? Well, yes -- in fact I am seriously running out of space, but I'm also running out of space to put bobbin boxes! These two smaller ones I can just slip into the smaller drawers of my needlework cabinet; they will hold my speciality-but-not-silk threads, like satins, metallics, and hand-dyed cottons. The six ( ) large bobbin boxes are equally divided between DMC and mixed silks.

Not from the postie but from my daughter's friend. Her mother asked her to bring me a big bag when she came back from a visit. Well, there are about 30 consecutive issues of Quick and Easy as well as a few various other titles. Also were the charts, booklets and free kits from many of them. There was even the recent Flower Fairies alphabet...I so nearly bought that but needed something else instead that day.

A quick look last night turned up several (now THAT is an understatement) projects for me to drool over before I start them. My to do list is getting so big that I need to get fitter to live long enough to do them all.

I'm one grateful bunny today.
