Ok this is how far I got before the red mystery. The red was on the stitches in the bottom left of the picture you can really see the stitches on the white but they are there. :o

This looks beautiful. Are you still going to want to stitch snowmen in the summer when it's blistering hot? Maybe the snowmen will make you feel colder.
