I had lovely post today,I received my qsnap frame can't wit to try it and a silk grab bag from polstitches, I got 2 Dinky Dyes and 2 Steff Francis in purple/pink/blue so looking forward to trying them out as well.

I also got 22 ct fine Arios in cream and 25 count Laguna in Light Mocha fabric from Sew and So for a wedding sampler which I am planning on using 1 stand 1 over 1 but not sure which fabric I will use yet will have to experiment. :D :D

The Margaret Sherry kit is sooo cute :wub:

I still havent plucked up the courage to try and stitch on the 25ct Lugana I rec today. If I cant see it I will be soooooo dissapointed and will have to use the 22ct aida :thinks:

Oh and I got a camera so once I know how to use it and doofer it with the pc hopefully I can put some pics up :roll:

I have just read all the way through this topic. All I can say is I think I need to change my postman! He never brings me anything very nice, not like yours!! :cry:

I had a very nice postman today he brought me a really cute snowman pattern :D

Yes, a book I got second-hand on Amazon, which MrXStitch told me about -- it's called Cross Stitch Calligraphy, and first has a part about the development of Western script (very interesting to my calligraphy side :-)), then lots of alphabets and ideas of what to do with them and blackwork patterns and so on!

yesterday i got my threads from mel and a cheque from mags. luckily i didn't bring my stash parcels to post today as my juice bottle flooded my bag and my phone.
