I have started Teresa Wentzler's Wedding Sampler. I will be doing it as an Anniversary Sampler for my parent's 50th Anniversary. It is being stitched with DMC cotton and Rayon flosses, on 28ct jobelen called Painted Champagne Cocktail by Enchanted Fabrics.
Here is what it will look like finished (though the words will be different):
I'm a huge TW fan and will watch with interest as I got the book of samplers for Christmas.
I think it will suit your parents and their Golden wedding very well indeed.

I had to frog a bit. I miscounted the center of the bit at the top of the column and had to restitch it. So I didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but here's the update from today's stitching:

Before starting any of the patterns in the best of book, check out the errata page on the TW Design Works web site, as well as the posting board. Sadly when the best of book was printed, they left out a stitch diagram, some backstitch instructions and messed up some of the colors for this chart. Between the bulletin board and the errata page on TW's site, I have a list of corrections and the missing instructions.

The first one I'm going to do is the English garden sampler, it has peacocks in it too which are a favorite of mine.

Ohhh I love the samplers with the peacock in it. Very beautiful sampler! If you need any help finding corrections for it, please let me know. I'll be happy to see what I can find for you.
