Thanks for the welcome Mabel.

I started this on 4th April and was happily stitching away at the border and made quite a bit of progress before noticing I'd made a HUGE mistake!! I totally miscounted the height of the first box & had to frog a LOT!! Call it a premonition but I had just that day received a pair of unpicker tools which made the job a lot easier!

Anyway here's the progress so far ...

You can just make out where the border was wrong & needed unpicking.

I'm being EXTRA careful now!!

An update! I'm sticking to the red and white bits for the moment, so you'll have to wait to see my silks in their full glory :-), but here it is so far:

Image

I've decided to get some black silk for the black bits within the design (I'm using DMC for the black outlines) -- especially now that Titania Dreams is having a 20% off offer on Carrie's silks!

That looks wonderful flumpz :applesauce: :applesauce: what a pain with the frog attack, this design certainly needs extra attention to counting, I am even using pins to mark ten stitches on the longer sides  (must try to post an update  )
That looks great Mabel :applesauce: :applesauce:
We need the title of the thread changing now
