Here's an update. I was going to wait until the balloon was completely done before scanning it but I need to take a break and work on other things. It might be awhile before I get back to this project.

I got this pattern from http://www.patternsonline.com for only $5,49 download. There's a link in my first post that should take you straight there.

I don't think the other balloons will be as much trouble as this one has been. They're bigger and have larger swatches of colors instead of the 1 stitch here then 1 stitch some 30 odd rows away. I counted and I think there are 6 colors that only have 1 or maybe 2 stitches in that whole balloon. Once I'm done with this section it should go much faster.

I'm only going to put this project aside until I can finish the backstitch detailing on the bears and finish Carcassonne. Then it will be back in my regular rotation.

I've started stitching this again because I missed it. I can't say I missed working on the balloon because of all the confetti stitches. I think there were 6 colors with just one stitch in that whole balloon. I think I'll stick to the background for awhile and work on other balloons later.
