hi all, this is my first post.. in fact ive never even cross stiched before to my knowledge, i guess i may have made a bookmark at school once but i dont remember !)
All going well , we will soon be moving into our first home together .. a little victorian house.. hence my first question that i posted in tricks and tips.
I would really like to make my partner some kind of " no place like home" " "love makes a house a home"/.. you know the kinda thing .sampler , and i cant find any i like.. maybe you peeps can point me in the direction . And i would also be intrigued how can i ensure that it looks old, any tricks of the trade??? A faded, worn , muted coloured and tatty victorian look is what im after.
its good to be here and I look forward to any suggestions you may have, and to being spurred on to start my first ever cross stitch!!!

I loke Mags have also suggested a couple of sites in your other post.
Hello & welcome. I did a Victorian style sampler (its on my gallery - last page of the member's gallery). I know its not a home-type one, but it would fit in with your Victorian theme . Its by Anchor. (It also looks ok in my 60's semi )
