I have done a bit more backstitching and all the snowflakes. The snowflakes was so annoying to do. So many scattered all over the place. I was ready to give up.. I have done the wee star - I had to do backstitch the eyes twice as I thought it was kinda hard to see.

Just a wee update. I have done most of the edge around the background and done some backstitch. Still not at the end yet. I have lost one of thread to do some of the snowman.. So I'm going to have to order some, which means some more stash..

I'm going to start my HAED soon. Kinda scared cos they're so daunting but can't wait to get cracking. I have all the threads bought and fabric is on its way.

I done all his buttons now. Just have to stitch the white areas of the snowman's body and a bit of the background below him. All I will have then will be the backstitch. So :x: I'll be finished by this weekend.. Then I will be starting my first HAED. I have all the stash ready for it. 8)

I have a wee question about gridding - would normal floss be ok or would they stain over time? I have never gridded and I tried to find some info on how to do it etc but the instructions were too confusing for me.. If you can point me in the right direction on how to do it and get started, I would be a very happy :bunny:.
