Thanks everyone. And thank you Mabel although I nearly didn't put the one with me in it on here coz I look a mess and hate photos of myself!!

At least the stitching is so big it covers the rest of me up!!!!!

Wow!!
Liz, the Phoenix Fairy is almost as big as you!!!!! Wonderful finish!

And does everyone else agree with me that it doesn't look just like stitching, it looks like a real painting?

I absolutely agree! Congratulations Liz, she's beautiful. All that hard work was worth it!

Out of interest, how many hours did it take in total?

Yours is the first HAED I've seen completed. VERY WELL DONE!! Go have a glass of wine or something, you deserve it!!

She looks fabulous, such colours!! I can't quite believe you have to give this away. Is it for a magazine? Will it ever be returned to you?

Anyway, :applesauce: :applesauce:  :applesauce: :applesauce:

I don't really know how many hours this has taken. I reckon it has been nearly a year and probably averages out at 3 to 4 hours a day. It is going to a company who sell the charts for them to use as a display model at sewing exhibitions. So you never know, you might see it for real one day. Unfortunately, I won't be getting it back. I won't be posting it off until my partner comes back home and sees it finished though!(Even though he thinks I'm mad for spending so long sewing!)

When my darling son saw me hold it p for a photo he asked me if i was going to make it in to an apron. :thinks: :thinks: !!!!!!!!
