Ideas for a gift needed

Post by megandmog »

If anyone has the latest issue of World of Cross Stitching, I'm doing the little teddy bear kit for my niece's birthday later this month. I thought I'd do her name in some building blocks and then sew them all on to a cushion or frame them, but does anyone have any other, more creative ideas for what I could use them on/for?

What about stitching the bricks onto a little cloth bag, little girls of all ages love a bag to hide her goodies in.

Or depending how young she is, you could make it into a soft block toy -- one side has the bear, other sides could have letters from her name.
