Great progress, Slinky, it looks really good! :applesauce: :applesauce:

I only used Anchor for the 28 little bags I stitched last year, but to tell you the truth, I didn't notice any difference.

I thought it about time I updated my progress on this project as it's been a while.

At last I have finished the flower in the bottom left. It looks great now with the backstitching, but getting all that shading in was more challenging than I first thought.

The border is nearly halfway done too, then the other half of the design is asically a mirror what you see here, plus the wording, of course.

See what you think:

It's fantastic, and that shading is worth all the efforts because it gives a wonderful effect! :applesauce: :applesauce:

This is an update on my progress:

Image

I haven't really been on the ball with this one, but it occurred to me tha our wedding anniversary is mid-June and if I could get it finished for then that's would be a really lovely surprise.

Thing is, have to allow 2 weeks to frame it, I need to finish the stitching by end of this month - EEK! Might be a bit ambitious but I'll have a go.
