Orchid by Lanarte

Post by Lizzieh »

Now I've finished the Phoenix Fairy I have pulled out the WIP I had going before I started it.

It is a beautiful Lanarte design of an Orchid. It is stitched on 30count linen which has been very slightly screen printed to give a very subtle cream background.

I have done about half of the first page with 3 more to go after.

Will post piccies when I have the camera back! It feels really weird stitching on this after doing a HAED on 18count!

I love Lanarte and Orchids so I just couldn't wait to see your photos and found the kit L01[f]34786_Lanarte_-_Orchid.htm]here. It's absolutely stunning    Very expensive though

Sorry the link won't work - I think it must be because there are [] in the web page name. I'll see if I can find another link.

Right, he is back now so here are the promised pictures.

This is what the finished design looks like.

And this is what I have done so far

This just seems so incredibly fast to do after the HAED.

I am going to rotate 3 days on this, 3 days on Castle in the Air and 3 days on cards for TOFs. I never thought I'd see the day of having more than one thing on the go
