My First Large Finish for 2009!! Re: Blackwork Winter

Post by Raven »

I am very happy to report that I completed the final stitches in Blackwork Winter by Tam's Creations at 9:23 PM (or so) Central Time. Yesterday my neice helped me do a few stitches, which came out a tad messy but I left them in. Sadly the pic of us stitching together did not show up. But I put her initials as well as mine on the sampler, as she deserves credit for the stitches she helped do.

Here it is complete:

Thank you all for your support and encouragement, it really did make a difference in my ability to fight m depressive periods and get back to stitching. I can not tell you all how much I appreciate it and how much it means to me. I am so happy that I found this forum, you guys are the best!!

Thank you all!

And Lisa, sure give me your address and I'll be happy to pass on the original chart, I'll even throw in a couple skeins of DMC 550 (the purple I stitched it in). :)

I have to agree that this forum is wonderful. It doesn't matter if I disappear for a few days, I am still welcomed back. Everyone is always willing to listen if I need to vent or complain, and everyone is so supportive. I just love it :)
