Looking for some ideas
Please, I am looking for some ideas to make a family tree in cross stitch. I am hoping to make a tree with family names and am looking for some nice borders and alphabets I also need an idea for a tree . This will be one of my many challenges. Thank You
Re: Looking for some ideas
What sort of style are you looking for? For some ideas I just did a yahoo search of cross stitch+family tree and several came up. I picked this one at random as it stood out.

Have a look at Little House Needleworks designs. There are some here. Their designs are full of houses and trees and alphabets and might be a good starting point for you.

Re: Looking for some ideas
At the top of the General section there is a stickie called "internet sites". It's long, but I think there might be leads to alphabets there (not to mention more freebies than you can shake a stick at).

hi
I've got a chart for a family tree design if you'd like it. Its from a magazine a few years ago. It's not of a tree but there is borders and alphabet styles on it. Pm me your address and you can have it if you'd like.

I'm glad you started this thread as I've been thinking about designing a family tree chart too!
