Starting to feel real for you by now I would have thought. I can already imagine sitting in the shade under the willow and hearing the leaves rustling in the breeze.

Great work.

This is absolutely beautiful (doesn't even begin to describe...)!! The painting is gorgeous, and your idea to translate is so touching. My great grandmother used to paint (and needlepoint conincidentally) and I have some of the paintings in my apartment - perhaps I'll attempt this type of challenge one day myself.... :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Arrgh! I didn't even notice!

I had hoped to be at this point at the beginning of the week, with the long weekend on my side and all...but the number of colour changes in the last three blocks was insane and it got to the point that I was forcing myself to it...so I took a couple days off, concentrated on other things, and went back to it - at which point it was still frustrating (I need to find a stitching fairy to do the really frustrating bits for me!) but much easier to approach because I could focus more on the idea that it really was worth it!

With a full strip completed, it looks like viewing a scene through a letter-box! I just want to open the door and walk outside to see it all! :D :applesauce:
