I've nearly finished the main swan, I'll take the next update picture then so there is something worth looking at. Hopefully just a few more days away. Was at OH over the weekend so nothing done then!

Can't believe it's taken a week to get this far. Had a slight incident with the :ribbit: half way through last week, plus the week from hell technology wise didn't help.

Anyway:

One finished swan, plus the first bit of water. It's so good to be stitching some colour after a month of white on white.

The shading on the swan is superb, but I can imagine you're happy to do some blue now :-)!

I am sure that you will finish it in plenty of time for Christmas. You have started with the most difficult part in as far as seeing the colours, when you do other areas of colour I think that it will go more quickly.

Such a lovely picture with plenty of detail and interest.

A weekend spent mainly stitching means I don't want to see Anchor 167 for quite a while.

I went 1 stitch wrong in the dodgy green bit on the right hand side, so I've had to grid a square to stop it getting worse. It's not ideal but was too tricky to frog in the end. Very difficult to read the chart (colours and symbols) in the green section.

Image

Quite pleased with my progress though (still less than 1/6th of the way through) and soon I might get to stitch some nice pink waterlilies!
