As I have said, I haven't been very stitchy recently (due to baby-yuckiness), but Twinklehubby however has been very busy!
Since he finished his Winnie The Pooh (all the gang around a tree), which took him 2 and a half years, he has been really speeding along on a baby sampler for our little bump! He's determined to get it finished before November so all he has to do is fill in the details!
So here's the first pic to get this stitch-a-long started! :
and here's what it'll look like at in November (hopefully) - and with name and detail changes! :
SO cute (but then I think anything baby related is...) and what a wonderful start - how lovely that you and hubby can share the craft I guess we should expect to see a budding stitcher from your family

So cute! He's made a great start! I agree that it is fun sharing a hobby with your other half. DH has been stitching the last couple of nights, but mainly to distract him from his allergy eyes that have been driving him crazy. DH did start a stamped baby quilt that matched the sampler I was working on when I was pregnant with our first child. He didn't get very far with it though. It is still sitting in my stash 6 years later. I won't work on it because I don't like stamped patterns. I asked DH about it before we had our yard sale last week, but he wants to hang on to it.

I love this sampler, and well done to Twinklehubby for being so talented. My son-in-law loves to stitch and says it relaxes him so hopefully we will have another sampler done by a proud daddy.
