I've now got I and J finished as well so that's the first 10 done! :D I've only got another 3 letters to go (the end of the row) and then I'll be half way through!

I've played around with a few of the colours on both I and J. The dots on the I were supposed to be an orange, which wasn't going to show so I changed it to a lighter redder colour, and for some reason instead of being one base colour for the J it was 2 greens with blue spots so I did it as the darker of the 2 greens as the base colour and the lighter as the spots. Oh and I left out some of the backstitch on the jaguar - it was just too hard to do on 25ct! :D

Iim not sure if you can in the pic of all the letters so far, but some of my backstitching has come loose on the earlier letters (only where I've made big jumps) due to the handling of the fabric when working on other letters. I'm leaving it loose until all the letters are stitched (and not making as big a jump on the rest) because at the end I'll go through and backstitch the word underneath the letter, so can fix up these problems then...

This is coming on a treat, lovely alphabet, colours look great. How are you managing to keep the surplus fabric out of your way when you are stitching? I am planning to do an afghan and am worried about the logistics of it.

I'm not really doing anything with the surplus fabric at the moment just scrunching it up in the hand holding my qsnap. Its a bit harder when I'm working on the letters on the right side (I stitch with my left) so when I've got annoyed with fighting my hand under the fabric I tend to turn it upside down and stitch that way.

Another couple of letters to show - K and L:
ImageImage

Again I've been making more changes as I go - I changed a whole lot of full stitches to 3/4 on the K as they would of stuck outside the outline and the M that you can see started on the full picture - it should match the blue L, but because these fell side by side on my layout I decided that I would make N blue instead.

Once I've finished M I'm going to put this aside for a little while I think as I'm not getting the joy of each individual letter finish at the moment that I was when I started it.

I should go back to working on Wildflowers but I'm also struggling to enjoy stitching that as well so I think it will become my first SWIP. I think I'm struggling on it though as I have a quite a few projects that I really want to start. I really want to start another HAED (Father Christmas with Toys), which I am considering on doing on 28ct (then it will fit on a fat quarter, its slightly too large for a fat quarter of 25ct) so to help me decide if I like 28ct I have some small freebies that I want to do. Also calling out to be started are the EMS advent numbers and the four fractal bookmarks I want to do.

My head is saying that I should start the advent numbers (then I could alternate them with the rest of the alphabet) and as the fabric I want to use arrived during the week I can now start, although I have everything to start a fractal as well! To add to the dilemma of what to start - I already have another project picked out to do while I'm on holidays in July!

New stash: Watergarden 32ct jobelan, 2 cards of petite treasure braid and a sample of the new hand dyed silks that Stitches and Spice are doing. (They are sending out a sample with all the internet orders they get in June - isn't that lovely :D ) The fabric is what I plan on doing the advent numbers on.

Lovely progress on the MS alphabets! :applesauce: ...and wow! you have quite a lot lined up for your next project....but I hope you'll still do the wildflowers as I really love it.
The EMS advent designs look wonderful to do, too...I also downloaded the available patterns.
