Yesterday she brought me a lovely piece of Kingston 55ct linen -- I hope to use it for miniatures, like using 27 or 28ct over one, only here I can work over two (much easier for fractionals)

Well, a few days behind, bc I received on Friday, but like 8 kits for mostly gifts :D I LOVE making presents!!

P.S. I've discovered that eBay is the WORST thing in the world for a shopaholic like me, where there's tons of stash goodies....oh someone, please help me not go broke ;)

My 3 charts from Ebay arrived today - one Pooh and two Discworld ones - and I'm pleased to say they look great! High quality b&w prints with clear symbols and information on exactly how much floss is required in each of the colours. Am well chuffed as they were a real bargain at just 99p each (plus a little extra for P&P).

The postperson is dragging his heels! I have been waiting AGES AND AGES for two packets to arrive from the States (late-night wine-enabled internet shopping ...) from Carries Threads and 1-2-3 Stitch respectively.

Both have emailed to say they've dispatched, but ... not arrived.

Patience is not my virtue. *drums fingers on table in frustration*
