Elizabeth's SAL Page

Post by ellazakay »

Here's where I thought I'd put all of my SALs because I don't want to clutter up the forum. The first one I'm putting up is a bookmark I've finished stitching but haven't put the finishing touches on just yet.
It's from the book Bookmark Mania II by Barbara Christopher from Jeanette Crews Designs Inc.

Thanks so much everyone for the support! I hope (after some time, of course) to make 4 samplers for each of the seasons, but for now I'm starting with Spring. It's turning out quite nicely and I can't wait for it to be done so I can give it to my mother. Hopefully after my samplers, I'll have enough practice to finally start a HAED.

Added borders to the Spring Sampler, and finished the central image!! Whoo hoo! Only took forever because school started up again. The borders are from Bordering on the Edge of... collection 1 book 3, by Lynn Waters Busa.

The top border is a lot more work than I expected, but the side borders were done in just a couple hours.

Note: the thumbnail is sideways, but the actual image is the right way, oh photobucket...
