I am a very lucky "girl" today because Señora postie has just delivered two very important envelopes.

One contained Cross Stitch Crazy and a gorgeous humming bird card from Jilly which are very much appreciated. Thank you so much.

The second one contained a beautifully stitched card from Lesley, (meerkat), again very much appreciated thank you.

Got a little package from Joann.com yesterday with some pretty seafoam green fabric (perfect for stitching some teddy bears for a baby card), a bitty snowflake X-mas stocking that I want to stitch for my friend, and some needles!

Inspired by another forum member (I forget who, sorry) who had been buying xs books on Amazon, I thought "what a great idea" (fatal!) and postie has just delivered me :
Charted Monograms for Needlepoint & Cross Stitch by Rita Weiss
and
500 Cross Stitch Blocks by Anna Davidson

The last one is a bit of an odd choice but I thought it'd be useful for cards/samplers etc. The monograms book is excellent!

Well I've ordered 80 skeins and two packs of plastic bobbins in preparation for my Scent of Roses project(s), so I'm looking forward to them being delivered.

I've also packed some card bobbins into jiffy bags ready for posting to threadbear and benceagi later today
