Well, it took me a while to find it, but may I suggest you also consider StitchingMel's design in the "Sharing threads to which we have a copyright"? It's simple, expressive, and could easily be adapted to your needs.
Re: Help picking wedding design-more info
Okay, I guess I need some more help. I took out the middle picture from the options, so I'm basically looking at the celtic knot one and the black and white one. My SIL is going to have her colors as black and white for the wedding. Their webiste has a very elegant black/white border. Now I'm wondering if I should stick with the one I really like (number 1), go with #2 because of the color scheme, or try to make something using blackwork borders and some filler.
I'm not trying to be bad, but I don't want to go too expensive with the kit/materials because of the other costs we'll have. Kailey has been asked to be the flower girl, so I'll either buying or making a dress (whichever is cheaper). Plus, the cake is our wedding gift (probably me about $75 to make it). Then, after looking at their wedding website, she has Conner (our son) listed as Bible/Ring bearer. She hasn't asked yet, though.
sorry for the rant!!!!! Things are just absolutely crazy right now with everything else going on that I don't know which way I'm going. It's just easier for me to escape into my stitching rather than deal with everything I need to do.

would it work to just do the first one that you liked but in the b/w color scheme?

That thought has entered my mind. Unfortunately it quickly got pushed out by the pictures I have to find for the cakes this weekend and in 2 weeks.nikecam wrote:would it work to just do the first one that you liked but in the b/w color scheme?

What with the b&w theme, the second one would seem an obvious choice, but with all the other things you'll be doing as well why not try and put together a quick b&w blackwork border with their names and the dates in the centre?

That's kind of what I was thinking about as another option, Mabel. I had even thought about putting the Corinthians verse on it about love (love is patient, love is kind......). DMC just released a new wedding pattern on their free pattern site that has an assasi (sp?) leaves border on 2 sides with the verse in the center. I still have time to figure out what I want to do. I can't work on much else right now until we get through the two wedding cakes we have for this month, Kailey's birthday, a weekend vacation, reunion, trip to the state fair (we have free tickets), and anything else that comes up this month.Mabel Figworthy wrote:What with the b&w theme, the second one would seem an obvious choice, but with all the other things you'll be doing as well why not try and put together a quick b&w blackwork border with their names and the dates in the centre?
