I'm not really into the fairy/fantasy designs, so definitely the Peacock for me -- those colours!!!

I like the first one best (is it Forget Me Not?), never had a proper look up close & looks great! I would think all the 'eyes' in the peacock's tail would drive me mental to stitch :o

My first choice would be the peacock. I love the whole design this image comes from and on it's own I still think it's great.

My second choice would be the 2nd one (green fairy). You could get it without the background and then get a dyed fabric in whatever color you want if you didn't want to stick with all that green.

I don't like the first one. There was just something about it that bothered me. I looked at it for awhile and finally figured it out. It's her legs. Her left leg looks shorter than the other one. Yes, I know it's on a higher leve (like steping on a step) but then shouldn't her knee be bent instead of straight? Sorry for the nitpick (I do think it's a lovely design) but it's something that just bothers me.

Oh no - even more confused than ever now!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm terrible at making my mind up about things. :roll: :roll: ..and I think each pattern has got even number of votes! Ha ha!

I think I'm edging towards the 1st fairy and peacock because like a few of you said, the background on the 2nd one will be a nightmare! Mmmm???? Oh i don't know!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks for all your help everyone. I've decided on the following patterns (and as you'll see there are more than 3 :shock: :shock:) I couldn't resist :oops: :oops: :oops: !!!

In true 'Nic' style I haven't completely dismissed the 'Lily of the Valley' picture. I think I may tackle the larger HAED in the future. :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol:
