White Rose Chart

Post by Twoticks »

Hello

I am new to this site, and need your help.

I would like to stitch a white rose for my mother in law for christmas. AS I am an enthusiastic stitcher rather than a good one, it needs to be a smallish design ( 6 inches by 6 inches or slightly larger) and not too complicated.

Can anyone help?

I llook forward to hearing from you!

Hi Twoticks, welcome to the forum.
I have had a look online and there are two rose kits that may be interesting.
One is on the 'Simply Cross Stitch' site,it is called 'White Rose on Aida'.
The other, not a white Rose, but worth looking at, is on 'Superstitcher' 'Mini Dog Rose' by Heritage, it is done in blocks of colour and whole stitches, and is only 4" square.
Enjoy the forum

Hello and welcome

There is a whitish freebie rose here - a bit big but you could do part of it.

Alternatively, what about doing a monochromatic pattern in white on a coloured fabric - I just stumbled across this:
