Excellent progress Lisa! The pirates always seem to jump from being blobs of colour to the real picture in such a dramatic change, as soon as you backstitch a part. It's great to see.
The giraffe looks great already.
There's nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with CHOCOLATE!

thanks everyone
i made a quick a birthday card, chart came out of some mag. for the cake i used carries chocolate and the icing is also a carries thread but cant remeber which one
cant really tell on the photo but the card is embossed and looks like this

bit of background on it:
I have a girl and boy, and just like the pic the boy is younger with blonde hair and my girl is older with brown hair, although i have a smaller age gap then the pic. my 2 practically twins with only 9months and 6days between them. however my mum died when i was 10 and so never got to meet my babies, but i think she watches over them everyday. so when i saw this one i just HAD to have it.
