This piece has been calling to me, so I just had to start work on it. It's going slow, but I've been enjoying it. Working on 18ct aida, I needed to give my eyeballs a break!

You've made a good start there - do you have a picture of what the finished picture will look like?

Is this the Rachel Anderson one? I love it although probably wouldn't stitch it myself (too many other things queuing up), will enjoy watching your progress though - I like how even already you can make out the petal outline on the edge of the corner, that bit of lighter blue

It didn't occur to me to post a finished picture until I had spent a bit of time asleep
so here is what it will look like, eventually. It doesn't call for any kreinik but I'm thinking of subbing in just a bit for the tips of the wings

I think adding Kreinik is such a wonderful idea. It will give it that little bit of zing and personal touch.
