Hi all
It's been a while since I have been on the forum; little time to get on the computer at home and am not allowed at work. I have been stitching though, here is an update:
The background is in half stitches. Am really enjoying stitching it, is so relaxing. Shame I can only do bits in the weekends.

Oh I adore this piece
and the contrast with the half stitched background will no doubt be stunning once it's all finished and the cat stands out against it so well.
