Lessa54's WIP - Framed!

Post by Lessa54 »

I feel a bit of a cheat for starting this one as I only joined the forum when I was half way through it already, so you're not going to see it grow from the beginning as it were. But then, I know how much you all  pictures  so thought would add it anyway. This is the companion piece to my lady with flower that I posted before - it's lady with feather and is a Lanarte kit based on an Alphonse Mucha picture.

This is where I had got to about a week ago. It's slow progress because there's so much backstitch that I have to do the backstitch as I complete each page of the cross stitches. Having said that, the backstitch is definitely worth it though.

I'll post where I'm currently at in the next one.

And as promised, progress as of yesterday. I'm on leave at the moment, so it's coming along a bit quicker.

Thank you for all your lovely comments. She's got a bit more of an arm now since the last picture. Will try and put another one up tomorrow or Monday. Back to work on Monday though :( :( :( so expect she will slow down a bit.

Well it's coming on great at the moment, so at least you're getting a good boost forward with it.
Great work.

Wow, this is really inspiring! I saw a Mucha exhibition this summer, and only then did I realize that some of his works are done as cross stitch charts. Beautiful! :applesauce: :applesauce:
