It's finished!!! Nachstenliebe's First SAL here!

Post by Nachstenliebe »

Morning everyone! I thought I'd start my first thread concerning my current WIP
It's "A Mythical Dragon" by Dimensions. I've had this in my stash since I was 16. When I was finished with my Gaia project I felt super lost without a project to do. This project filled the void.

I started two weeks ago I think? I'm at a standstill with it right now as I ran out of the required blending filament. I bought some at the local craft store but misread the label. What I bought was actually blending filament braid? I didn't know this existed and I'm a bit out of my element when it comes to blending filament. I need to go back to the store and see if this is all they have. More likely I'll order some online

*screams in delight at the beautiful dragon* Oh my, it's soooo lovely? Is it a he, I'm gonna call him a he for now. He's just gorgeous! Sooo big and beautiful. I like how he doesn't look very scary or very cuddley either, he's like... like a powerful, wise dragon that isn't exactly good, but isn't exactly bad. He more watches things and learns from them.

I hope you can get the thread you need. Dimensions are really god, if you contact them they're usually more than happy to send you out the thread for free once you run out. Apparently the way they see it is you've purchased the ability to make the design once, as such you should have all the thread you need to finish it once, if you haven't then it's their mistake and they're only too glad to remedy it for you.

What a beautiful pattern! It looks great so far!

I agree with Angel - just contact Dimensions, I lost some of the pieces for one of my kits and just emailed them through the website, and they sent the missing pieces within a week.

It's not a kit, just a chart with a few charms and one spool of gold blending filament. It called for other blending filaments as well, which is what I ran out of. I guess the gold one must be custom made or super hard to find.

Wow, I admire those who have the guts to start such ambitious and lovely projects. For some unexplainable reason I can't stick to big projects, and frankly I start to get bored of my smalls.
You are doing a great job, keep on working!

lol I tend to prefer bigger projects. I go through an insane period between projects and the longer between those spans the better!
