Enchanted Cottage

Post by JenEric »

This is the project I work on a few days a week during my lunch hour (time permitting).

Dimensions Gold - Enchanted Cottage

I will try to update the photos monthly (at least) - there is very little progress day to day.

Sorry for the poor quality photo here - looks like a bit of a shadow at the bottom and a bit blurred.

It's lovely, I normally have a 'work' project for lunch times I find it relaxing.

I stitch in my lunch hour too! I think my colleagues have got used to me being slightly odd that way, though my boss did query why I didn't go outside for lunch. He looked a bit bemused when I told him that the office light was great for stitching  As I work in hand though, I just take my current project with me - it's now quite well travelled....

Jen - your one is looking great. What's the finished picture going to be?

This looks lovely, Jen. Wish I could still stitch in my lunch break, but I only get half an hour and by the time I've actually eaten my lunch, I only have about 15 minutes, although I did manage to stitch a birthday card in my breaks once. My colleagues thought I was a bit odd!

:applesauce: I like this one, will be good to see your progress!

I might go back to stitching before work/at lunchtime again - I agree the lights in the office are good for stitching!

Oh great progress on this one! I really like it! :applesauce: :applesauce:

I keep thinking about bringing my stitching to do on a lunch break but most the time I don't even take a lunch break and lately if I do take one, I've been going for a walk...but stitching would be so much better!!!

I stitch on my breaks and at lunch while at work. Sometimes it's a little project, sometimes a big one. Right now I'm taking my balloons with me. After I assemble the scroll frame setup when I'm done I just put it on the floor behind me. I get people coming by just to see what I'm working on and how far I've come.

I love what you've done so far. Keep it up and try to post updated pics more than once a month please!

I'd rather be odd than normal, especially when it results in great pictures for the home :D

That's a lovely project - look forward to seeing more updates.

This is lovely and your progress is great! Well done.
I'm sure rather than seeing you as 'odd' your workmates are probably quite impressed. :)
