Isn't it fun with a design with very distinct parts you say to yourself -- just a little more of this and then I can start on the rose/the face/the dog; very encouraging, I always think, although with your speed I'm not sure you need it

I agree, Mabel, I was doing exactly that over the weekend - "just got to fill in that leaf on the left and then I can get to the rose petals!" It's almost like an advanced version of a colouring book as well, making the black lines first and then "colouring" in each piece. I shall almost be sorry to finish this, I'm enjoying it that much.
