Yesssssss, I received the Adida Magic count. Yes I know, I´m lazy but I need to stitch two names more for my nephews and I always lost a lot of time doing the count. But I´m stuck because I received the aida but not the treads. I have to wait.

I'm in the right place today to finally (feels like it's been ages!) pick up my parcel from the sorting office...but I forgot the card they put through my door and by the time my meeting finished this morning the sorting office was closed anyway.

Tomorrow!

I got a marvelous envelope brimming with beads, cards and a precious Mill hills kit from Topbiddy (my, she's such a marvelous person!), plus my copy of Cross Stitcher magazine (at last!)

I got Tuscan Horizon, it is one of the small ones, I have not had a Maia kit before and was glad to get it so I could see what was inside, I now would love to get one of the new Christmas ones, maybe the Thomas Kinkade one?

Not from the postie, butmy Mam is up from England for the weekend and brought me some of her old stitchy stuff - a whole box full of various flosses , some small offcuts of Aida and a couple of x-stitch books she'd picked up in a charity shop. Will have a great time bobbining up the flosses and sorting through everything - ooh, don'tcha just love stash acquisitioning?

A late-night Amazon trawl saw me buy a bunch of needlework books with alphabets motifs and so forth - from the FRENCH site! My schoolgirl French was sufficient to actually purchase the things, but since then I have been bombarded with French language emails from Amazon.fr no doubt telling me lots of very important things about my order which I didn't understand! So I waited patiently and they arrived today. I am very pleased, if slightly sad/disappointed that the publishers don't feel there is a market for these things in the English language.

My two pans!! Haven't tried them yet as I had a rather gruelling session at the physiotherapists and am currently reassembling most of my joints, but I'll let you know how they are!

I got my mount cutting set: a cutter and a special guide rule for it; and I also got a book of charts called "The Rainforest" from eBay. I'm still waiting for some threads I ordered on Sunday.

The other week I won a Qsnap frame from eBay but it didn't arrive. The seller refunded me, but I really would have preferred the frame.
