Wow this is looking lovely, such a beautiful scene.
Did you say a lot of the top portion is in half crosses? So maybe that'll help with your Christmas deadline

It is turning out beautifully! Good luck with your deadline! I'm not so great working with one. I'm more a fly by the seat of your pants kind of girl. It happens when it happens! Kudoos to you though on trying your best to get to your deadline.

Thanks all. Last night I started on the bushes on the right hand side. In the wrong shade. So
then I restitched but counted wrong so
again.
Third time lucky, and I still managed about 200 stitches (mostly half cross). I think if I can average 200 or more a day I might just make it. Plus I have 4 days leave I can take and stitch away..

Another update, looks like lots of progress - that's because it's mostly half cross!
It's lovely doing large blocks of colour, haven't had that in ages.

More trees.
Some sky. Then it'll be back down to the bottom half to do a very large duck...

This is looking great - I love all the wildlife, and the red/pink and purple folliage adds a nice contrast to all the rich greens!
