How annoying to run out of so many colors that would have made me very angry. But you have done a superb job!!!!!

Here's another update - I finished Panel 3 last night including the backstitch wording (whatever that says, I think it might be French but even if it is, I can't make it out).

All I have to do now is stitch the words onto the other 2 panels and then it's finished! Here's Panel 3 finished.

Looks great! I've just spent ages staring closely at the screen but can't make those words out either. There isn't even a big picture on Lanarte's website where they're decipherable. Can you tell I'm trying to put off work? :D

The sunflowers are looking gorgeous :D

As for the lettering, I've noticed that Lanarte kits often have lots of fancy (but unreadable) handwriting-type words around them, my little Paris kit did (that I just played around with to get used to evenweave) and that big swan one of theirs has it all over!!

This is lovely - how are you going to frame it? The fabric is so nice, that you'd want to see it!

When I do get it framed, which won't be until some time next year at least as I have heaps waiting to be framed and also I have nowhere in my flat to hang anything this big so it wouldn't go on the wall until I move in the future, I thought I would get it done so it shows as much of the fabric as possible and probably without a mount, just one long frame in some shade of mahogany to pick out the darker colours from the sunflowers.
