Hello, I'm new!

Post by Meagan »

Hello everyone,

I just recently started cross stitching, and I'm addicted to it! I'm still on my first project, but I do it every free minute that I have! It's such a stress reliever for me. I can't wait to meet you all and get some great tips, and ideas!

Hello Meagan!

So glad to have you on the forums, a huge welcome! I'm sure you'll find some really useful tips and ideas on here, even the oldbies are still getting new tips and ideas. It's really great having a place for likeminded people to share a hobby, and it's so much more than that too, so take a seat, grab a coffee (or something stronger if you like, we have our own pub :P) and have fun.

Can't wait to see your work!

Just a bookmark. I know, it's very basic, but since I'm new to this I thought I'd try something simple! I've only been working on it for three days. And with a 16 month old, it's hard for me to find "me" time, to work on it. I've mostly been doing it at night before I go to bed. My husband says it's looking good, but we'll see! :)

Ooooh sweet. My first project was little too and took forever to stitch. A tiny bit here and there soon adds up though. ^_^

 That's a problem I never thought of. I wonder how many baby starvations have been caused by this forum! and by cross stitch.

:? no baby starvations around here....at least not until the little miss can rat me out about it anyway  There has been one moment where I was one here and she had brought a box of crackers to her brother to be opened and more ended up on the floor than in their mouths... lol
