I like the effect of the stalks in the water, very realistic -- and looking forward to the poem!

Here's another update - the top daffodil isn't quite finished as I'm missing one shade. Hopefully my LNS will have that, I don't want to order any online at the moment with the postal strikes coming up.

How quick! I love the colour of the fabric, it's just so soft and natural and to me really evocative of the poem as well. :applesauce: :applesauce:

  I missed this one until now because I saw it in the topic line but was confusing it with your sunflowers, so thought it was them!!!
Very impressive though, I do like the effect of the 3 strands on the green fabric, really pretty design! :applesauce:

I really like the green of the aida, and the effect of the stalks in the water vase is great! Talk about speed stitching! Amazing! :applesauce: :applesauce:

Well, I got the missing thread so I was able to fill in the gaps. I'd progressed a bit more by then as well and I decided to do all the backstitch on what I had stitched so far, otherwise I'm going to have loads of it right at the end. Here's another piccie.

Three more daffodil heads and two buds left to stitch.
