Really complex kits you have chosen - but sooooo nice. They will keep you busy while the "nights are drawing in". I was at the Hobbycrafts in SECC Glasgow on Friday. Sad to say I was a bit disappointed. I felt it was mostly card and papercraft stuff around. I was really disappointed in the Crafts for Christmas bit - I was expecting actual crafts to do not ones that were already done. Thought it was more like "Pressies to buy for Christmas".

Never mind I had a brill day as I was meeting up with my best friend. Worst bit of the day was buying coffee and cake! Why? Because the cake got put in a celophane bag not on a plate. Wandered around a bit to find a seat - no joy. Sat on floor to eat cake and drink coffee - only to find that I had been holding the bottom of the bag and the cake was no more!!! I felt a real muppet!! *Mark of best friend - she who offers to share her cake!*
I can see no reasons - 'cause there are no reasons.

Yeah the crafts for scotland was a bit of a surprise, but they did have some beauitful things. Its always more card making than sewing and cross stitiching.

There were designs that I LOVED but they said advanced so I choose those ones because they said it wasn't so hard. Just a hell of alot of detail, but should go excellent when I finish them.

... I just have to remember to go my college first and then cross stitich :thinks:

Thats the hardest questions I've been asked this year. LOL
I realllllllly dont know which to start. :? :thinks: :(

I think I might start the Aztec Queen first. I'll not start one untill mid Nov. Far to much college work to even think about cross stitich just now. :(

I like the Aztec Queen - but I looove the Aurora Cabin!!! Is that a Thomas Kincaide design??

I'm sure I've looked at a S-A-L with the Aurora Cabin some time ago, but can't remember who was stitching it. That would definately be one title for my wish list

It's actually a Dimensions kit, Daz. You can also get a slightly different version of the pattern at http://www.patternsonline.com" target="_blank. It doesn't use the blending filaments like the kit does, but you could always add them in if you want. :D

Great choices. I see from another posting that you've decided on Aztec Queen. Looking forward to following it. :D
