i've just looked at my fabric again, and i AM going to go ahead and buy the fabric pens... the thread gridding is way too time consuming and having to tear out the threads as i go will be a pain in the rump. i have got to get started on her before i die! lol!!!!

Gosh, I somehow managed to miss this one, I love the look of the waterfall, how do they manage to get water to look like water?

i got 4 pens... LOL!
and i'm STILL missing a couple of skeins, once i went thru the floss usage chart again....
alot lot lot of black... 25 skeins. at least it will be easy to see!

not sure how the blue pens will show on the 'tweed' or 'natural' evenweave... my test line seems ok, but. either way, it cant hurt.

tis the season to cross stitch... i hope to start on her (stitching wise) around xmas. hopefully that gives me enough time to complete my son's wolf project.

done with all the gridding!!! :D

it only took one pen!

look for some pics on my gallery!!! i couldnt get a good close up on the gridding, but at least everyone can finally appreciate the size of this project!

almost done with the wolves, all the backstitching left after about maybe 15% more cross-stitch.

i cannot WAIT to start on my HAED.... after i get her mounted on my 'hoop' i will start playing around with coverage, right now i'm leaning toward one thread full cross, i really want full coverage.

Your bobbin boxes look really neat and the whole set-up looks so inviting, don't you want to get stitching immediately :-)?

By the way, what fabric are you using? It looks almost transparent but that may just be the photo
