I'm Pretty Sure Eddie is copywritten and I very much doubt maiden are ever likely to sell him out as a cross stitch chart. The only thing I can suggest is making your own chart. So long as it's not for sale, you can make your own chart out of his image for personal use.

Angel, mmm never thought of that....is it possible to get it done via one of those conversion sites? Or could you give us a clue how to create your own chart???

I don't know the exact laws guarding what a company will do, but I'm going to guess that they won't knowingly touch copwritten stuff. Not an expert though, they could do.

To do it yourself is pretty simple, you just get one of the software packs (a lot are free) then upload the design into the software ind specify size and colour variety and bobs your uncle.

I have one of the Jane Greenoff software packages at home... I haven't used it for charting a photo yet, but I'd be more than willing to at least have a go at making a chart for you (for personal / non commercial use, of course).

Let me know, and you could either PM or email the pic, number of colours and required stitch count to me?

Just checked out one of the Iron Maiden websites, and thought that maybe the Mummy design might transfer quite well....??

A lot of the others seem to be extremely detailed, and potentially not very suitable unless you intended to stitch a design approaching the complexity of a HAED ?

any ideas about the number of colours or the stitch dimensions??
