Simple Treasures WIP

Post by flumpz »

Well - I have put my HAED on hold for a while as I wanted something 'lighter' to do. I liked this one as it's bright and evokes some nice images for me...especially with the dark nights drawing in earlier and the miserable weather (although today is lovely here!)

It's a Dimensions 'Sunset' kit called Simple Treasures.

Image

This is the start I made though the photo was taken on day 2 and now I have almost completed the starfish as well as a bit more background so will update again soon.

Image

I haven't done any 14ct work for ages - this is really nice to do as a really big change from the HAED.

Spent a pleasant afternoon watching episodes of Warehouse 13 and stitching!

Here's the latest ...

Now for a long soak in the tub before an evening of umm ... more stitching maybe?

Oh I love this one. I have picked it up and put it back down in shops on several occasions. I love anything with seahorses on anyway and I keep wanting to try a dimensions design. Oh dear, i can feel myself weakening.
