Hello!

Post by Flannel PJs »

I'm so glad I found this message board. I have cross stitched for years, put it down, picked it back up, over and over. Have made many things for family members, but never have I made anything for myself and framed it or finished the project off in any kind of way. Friday I finally started something to put in my kitchen. I have a booklet with sixteen designs of Crate Labels and Seed Packets. I started the one with peppers, a trio of green, red and yellow peppers, next I want to do the one with carrots, unless of course I change my mind, lol.

I'm in my late fifties, recently separated from husband, two wonderful kids (both grown) and DS and I just moved into our own home and are loving it! DD and SIL live close by and I'm so very thankful for that.

I find so much comfort sitting in my flannel pjs, T.V. going and just stitching away! I get "lost" for hours doing that, sometimes forget to eat, lol. But it's ever so relaxing and rewarding as well.

Hello  I do like your forum name :D I am in my early 50's with two grown up sons. This is a great forum..I joined in Feb this year, and I love seeing all the projects everyone is stitching, the encouragement when I show my projects and the friendliness of everyone.
I've learned lots too. Would love to see photos of your 'seed' stitching, the peppers sound very colourful.
