Wow that looks great and you did a fantastic job with the finishing. Are they going to be wall hangings????

I adore that pink butterfly. Can't wait to see it in the other colours that you are going to do.

Re: Charmagne's In-Between Projects
Thanks everyone!
For the frilly lace thing...i bought it separately and then sew it with running stitch, pulled the thread a little to make the frilly something out of it..and then sew them at the back of my xstitch project. Then for the other lace ribbon on the borders just before the lacey thing...I just sticked them on using the Sew No-More gel glue I bought from our local craft store then attached the glittery flower charms.
I'm planning to have them as wall hangings...actually planning to put the four of them together and have it framed.
I'm doing the 2nd one now in shades of blue...

Re: Charmagne's In-Between Projects
Have to dig this thread up...it's been so long since my last update....
...been into a lot of things lately... the 2nd in the series of the monochrome butterflies have been put in the sidelines for the meantime but I promise to revive it soon...
I have managed to finish some during the holidays...It's also a series made into cards...I was able to finish 2 out of 3...

....and a Rose Assissi Bookmark...

...and a Mother & Child design...using variegated thread...which is also my first finish for 2010!
I was able to stitch it in a day - January 2, 2010!

So! you like butterflies do you!!
We'd never have guessed!
They are really beautiful Mayne!!
I love the frilly edges, too.
'mother and child' in variegated thread is really effective, as is the rose bookmark!
