cross stitch cards

Post by rachelliott »

Sorry if this has been answered before. I want to make some cards from my sewing, using window greeting cards but I can't seem to get them to stay sealed- does anyone know what's best to use- glue? I've tried doubled sided tape and pressing them under books but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks in advance :D

I think there is a type of extra-sticky double-sided tape, I think I've sen it at Debbie Cripps's site, perhaps that would work?

I use a glue gun for my cards. If it's good enough stuff to hold my shoes together, it's good enough for cards :P

I agree though... a glue gun wouldn't be a bad idea...

Youcan get little ones for next to nothing from stationary and craft stores. The glue is very strong and doesn't dissolve in water so it's brilliant for a lot of things.

I use glue guns on a lot of my crafts including my stitching.

Is it like this one? It seems amazingly good value, but I'd like to know if anyone is familiar with this brand.
