Hi, I'm New Here

Post by wasabi »

Hello,
I'm H and I'm 23. I live in Leicestershire in the UK and have been looking for a cross stitch forum to join for a while now so I hope I've finally found a home!
I've been cross stitching since I was twelve and enjoy cross stitching mostly fantasy based or fairy tale cross stitches. I'm a big fan of Unicorns and Mermaids so a lot of my kits are of those. I'm a slo a big fan of Japanese cartoons so I make a lot of my own patterns so I can cross stitch in that style too.

I currently have 5 UFO's and 2 WIP's, I'm really slow at getting on with projects and always start something new instead so I'm hoping for a good group of ladies who can help me get my head down a finish more of the projects I start!

And I also recently started a cross stitch blog, which is really good fun ^^

I look forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully I can make some good friends aswell!
Please take a look at my cross stitch blog All my cross stitch related random rants, finished and unfinished projects, kits or charts I'm looking at getting and more:

Hello and welcome.

You certainly chose the right place to call home. The SAL section has a UFO club to help you finally finish those less than complete pieces :P And everyone is most welcome to open up a thread for every WIP they have, and you'll always get the cheers of encouragement. It's really hard to stop on a project when you have fifty girls all following it waiting for the next installment :P

Blogs are great fun too.

Hi guys,
Thank you all for such a warm welcome! I'm feeling at home already ^^
Nachstenliebe: I'm currently working on a Vervaco Egyptian Cushion and a DMC's Nefertiti, I can't wait to get both of them finished but I think Nefertiti is going to take a long time, it's such a heavy duty kit.

Mabel Figworthy: A group is a good idea I've been thinking onf starting one so if i get to know some people here I might have a go at creating a group ^^

Angel: I'll have to look up those sections on the forum they both look like the perfect place for me ^^
