CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I have been following Queenie since you first posted her. The Queen of Hearts is the first HAED design I fell in love with. After I saw her for the first time I know I wouldn't be able to attempt her as my first HAED!!! And then when I next checked in with this forum for that day, what do I see???? You stitching Queenie! It was great! I could live vicariously through you. I am so happy for you!!!! And excited for you as well, to be starting a new project. What will it be? Have you already chosen?

I'm not sure what I'm going to do for framing, I'm usually shocked at the prices quoted for professionals to do it, and slightly doubtful about having a huge big heavy thing hanging up......... Have been wondering about mounting it on a big canvas - saw some lovely ones in The Works in Harrogate a few weeks ago but at the one here they don't have them as big Wilkinson's have clip frames that would be big enough but not sure if I like stitching being covered by glass/plastic.... I'll have a think anyhow!!
I've started making my highly professional cereal-box-thread-holders for the first project in my new rotation - Summoning Old Friends (posted a link a little while ago in here).... Will start a SAL thread once I've something to show!
Am going to miss Queenie I think!!!! Sounds weird, but still...
Can't wait to see pictures. Congratulations! You did a fantastic job.

Of course you'll miss her, she's been part of your life for over a year! Whatever you do for framing, make sure it is what you want -- this is a BIG project, with a lot of you in it, and it needs to be right; if that means saving up, or begging 10-years-in-advance-birthday-and-Christmas-presents from all you know, so be it -- after so much work and effort and time you don't want to end up with something that makes you think "no that's not quite what I wanted" whenever you look at her!
Wow she's done! And just over a year! That's just utterly amazing! I remember this one from the beginning too and now I am excited to see you start some new projects but like you, a little sad too..gonna miss seeing her!!!

Averaging 850+ stitches a day? Wow, that's amazing speed.
I second that! I know they are tent stitches but even at full stitches that would be over 400 a day! (I think I am averaging around 300 a day on Wrath..so way way below you!!!)

Well I'm settling in with a stash of chocolate to wait for pictures. Of course, if you don't want to be blamed for me putting on half a stone (or more!) you won't leave it tooooooo long before you post up a picture will you.
There's nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with CHOCOLATE! Forget love! I'd rather fall in CHOCOLATE!

Congratulations on finishing. I can't wait to see the completed pics. I'm looking forward to seeing how you finish her off too (no pressure...whenever you decide).
I picked up the fabbie for mine on Sat (the needlework shop did not believe that I am stitching 2 over 1 on 25 count and kept questioning my fabric measurement size). I don't think they are familiar with the size of these particular designs.
Looking forward to your SAL's for each of your rotation items.

Well if the lovely people in Boots have done their job properly, my photos will be ready at lunchtime today! (I went for the 24hr instead of the 1hr, since as I can only get there at lunchtimes the 1hr would have been no use.... but it's only £1 cheaper!!??) So fingers crossed you will be seeing them this afternoon (will be interesting to see how OH did at photographing it!!! No really, he's usually better at it than me )
Threadbear, I don't think you'll be able to put on half a stone by then!!
