[Flannel PJs]

Hello again, everyone! So sorry I'm just now getting back. Moving, divorcing, starting a new job and joining a new message board somehow don't mix all at the same time, lol. Finally I've been able, the past couple of days, to get back into my flannels and stitch away. I'm working on a piece that is three bell peppers, red, yellow and green. I got tired of working on the black background today, so I started doing the outline stitching on the yellow pepper. Of course after several minutes, I was thinking to myself how I dislike doing outline stitching, but continued. It more than paid off, the yellow pepper really stands out! The black stitching is really rough on my eyes, but my goodness, the black background and outline stitching just make that pepper pop! I can't wait to take a pic of the work in progress and then the finished product. In our move I lost the battery pack for my camera, guess I can get one of those little web cam things in the mean time.

Great to hear there are other flannel p.j. fans here. Thurs. is supposed to be cold and rainy here so, I can't wait to get home from work, put my flannels on and stitch, stitch, stitch! I also see a few cups of hot cocoa in my future for that evening of stitching, too.

Looking forward to pics of your popping peppers -- by the way, if you deslike background stitching you could always choose a coloured fabric to work on, saves oodles of time!

Going shopping this afternoon (present for DH and boring household stuff ) and I know I will be passing one shop which has a lovely set of flanner PJs in the window which have been calling to me ever since I saw them last week. I may give in...
