Magdalene (HAED)

Post by justagirl78 »

Now I've put Sloth on the back burner, I thought I would start a new post for my new project that is taking Sloth's place.

The design called Magdalene by HAED (artwork by Myka Jelina)

Image

She's really lovely and has no background which is a bonus for my first HAED design. I have started her already, page one hardly has any stitching on it so i will be finished with the first page in no time :)

I'm stitching her on 25 ct lugana 1x1 full crosses.
My WIPs: Little Alice Blossom (HAED), Envy (HAED), Gatekeeper (Kustom Krafts).

hehe thanks!

It feels so strange stitching with one strand of DMC rather than 3 strands, i really like the little crosses too, they are tiny!

It'll take me forever probably, the stitch count is 255x410 which is so much smaller than other HAEDs which I'm happy about :)

Ooh I love Ayanna too, I also love melita by the same artist too. :)

Well, I've nearly finished page one, not that much stitching to do on it, I'm currently stitching the curly tendrils on her wings, they are really fun to stitch :)

The colours are lovely. It's great you're enjoying her as well.

I know what you mean about the tiny stitches as well. I'm doing my dogs on 28ct 1x1, and when I did a piece on 14ct inbetween the crosses seemed enormous!!

This looks like it'll be really fun to stitch. The blue shading on her wings and dress is going to be fantastic to watch! :applesauce:

Look forward to seeing a picture soon. Is her face stitched as well? Any sparklies in this one?

Interesting to see one without a background, she looks very striking standing alone like that.
