So, I started my Queen of Hearts this morning. I've stitched and stitched all day today in the hope of seeing a little bit of progress to start me off. I started on page 14 with her hair and a little bit of wing, I shall be moving along to her face during xmas.
Here is the artwork:
She is being stitched on cream 25 ct lugana full crosses with one strand. Stitch count is 500 x 635 and will probably take me a few years to complete. I really enjoyed stitching her today and can't wait to carry on with her.
Here she is:
this is the start of her hair and will be stitching her face very soon!

I gotta admit I love stitching this design already, and the 25 count is really nice to work with. I love my teeny tiny stitches and cannot wait to get to her face.
I shall be working on her all week, hopefully her face will emerge soon!
She's looking great already!! I started on Page 1 with mine because was worried about counting - was mostly just black stitches! Looking forward to seeing more of her soon

Oh good another one who likes to bring the face to life at the begining of the project. I love it. I try very hard to get the faces done first. It doesn't always work out but I like to have that face to look at when stitching.
Great start!!!!!
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror

Rose, I totally agree with stitching the faces first. I think I would struggle with my motivation if I didnt see the picture emerging straight away, and with the face being the focal point really, I think it is great to stitch the faces first!
