They will be worth the time, Angel! You are doing great

Yeah, I know they will, but they're just soooo slow! I think what I'm going to have to do is complete half od one wing, do some leaves, do the second half, more leaf, first half of the second wing? I think that should work pretty well.
well done you have done loads on this since i last looked!
the wing shimmer nicely in the last pic!

Oh, how sparkly! Sounds a good idea to alternate between different parts, Angel - I hope this way will give you even more pleasure stitching it.

Awwww thank you everyone. I'm glad that you can see the sparkles. I must admit that I was dubious at first due to the blending filament not really offering much cover, but...I was wrong. I love how it works into the design.
Thank you Agi. I gave it a try last night and found this plan worked really well. I finished the wing pretty quickly because I looked foreward to doing the none sparkly bit.
So today I will be doing the second half of her wing. When I finish her wing I will spend the rest of the day stitching nice bits.
Thank you ^_^ I did the purple tip to the rest of her wing, but I can't put the photo up yet because I left the phone that connects to my laptop in the other room and I'm poorly and put myself on bedrest. My head got all fuggy after that though, so I only did a little bit yesterday.
